Teaching Principles : My goal as a teacher is to help each student reach their goals they have set for themselves. I believe that with a good grip, stance, posture and balance everyone can be successful and have fun with the game of golf. The fundamentals of the swing and learning why they affect the flight of the ball are the basis of my teaching and communication with my students. All golfers have different physical abilities and skill

Cost: $699 (4-AW, optional SW, steel shafts), $899 with graphite

The skinny: This new large-headed hybrid might be called the offspring of a marriage between bigger fairway woods and typical hybrids. Its head size falls between the two, and its shaft length definitely is longer than most hybrids (42.5 inches for the 15-degree model). Other lofts are 17, 19 and 21 degrees. Plated with a striking black finish.

Cost: MSRP $249

JumboMax grips

The skinny: To put it bluntly, these are the largest grips in golf. JumboMax, a new company, is targeting golfers of all hand sizes. The sales pitch: Big grips allow a more relaxed grip.
